12 Klub Albatros Carsten Hansen, som er medlem i Frederikssunds golfklub og meget aktiv i Klub Albatros, blev udtaget til, at være en af de 3 golfspillere, som skulle repræsentere Danmark ved Special Olympics World Summer Games 2015 i Los Angeles i perioden 24. juli til 8 august. Det har været en stor oplevelse for Carsten, og vi er meget stolte af Carsten, som fik en flot 4. plads i sin gruppe, og han viste stolt sin medalje frem til os alle. STORT TILLYKKE TIL CARSTEN. Delegations The 2015 Special Olympics World Games - was staged in Los Angeles July 25 - August 2, 2015 – and was the largest sports and humanitarian event anywhere in the world in 2015, and the single biggest event in Los Angeles since the 1984 Olympic Games, with 6,500 athletes and 2,000 coaches, along with 30,000 volunteers and an anticipated 500,000 spectators in attendance.
